Ricardo Diaz is a Los Angeles based cinematographer who has shot award winning feature films, documentaries, and commercials all over the world. He holds a B.S. in Film from the University of Texas and an M.F.A. in Cinematography from The American Film Institute Conservatory. His commercial clients include Microsoft Windows, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Quaker Oats, Major League Baseball, SoFi and Proactiv for which he shot their 2017 Super Bowl spot starring Olivia Munn. Narrative feature credits include "First Girl I Loved" (NEXT Audience Award Winner SUNDANCE Film Festival 2016) and The Young Kieslowski (Audience Award Winner LA Film Festival 2014). His short film "Again" had its World Premiere in competition at the 2017 TRIBECA Film Festival. Most recently, his drama “Brian Banks” won the 2018 LA Film Festival Audience Award. The film, directed by Tom Shadyac, includes a dynamic cast in Greg Kinnear, Aldis Hodge, Sherri Shepard, and Morgan Freeman.
